Adult and Toddler Book Club
Our parent/guardian assisted classes are designed to support child development milestones and are a fantastic way to assist you and encourage your child to take an active interest in literature.
Our sessions are designed to support your child’s developing early language and literacy skills through fun and practical activities.
Each session will be packed with fun activities which focus on repetitive motifs, games, songs and play; as we explore an age appropriate story with sensory resources.
The sessions are designed to be practical and encourage full participation and engagement from your little one, whilst being guided by a qualified and experienced English and Drama teacher.
The session lasts 45 minutes and includes a cup of tea/coffee* and a homemade cake (courtesy of Betty Bakes) for the adults; plus juice and biscuits for your child to enjoy at the end!
We encourage you to bring your own flask along to sessions, as it keeps your hot drink hot and is better for the environment, although I’m sure you’ve acclimatised to drinking your hot drinks cold by now! (takeaway cups are available).
Booking required for 6 sessions. Max 2 children per family, £2 for each additional child over 1 year. Childminder discounts available upon request. Price includes tea/coffee/cake/juice and biscuits.
For student’s wishing to partake in individual or paired LAMDA sessions, classes can be arranged during evenings and weekends.
Students can choose to prepare for exams in Acting (solo/duologue/groups/combined), Public Speaking (solo), Verse and Prose (solo).
I am also able to offer tuition in devising, mime and Shakespeare on request.

Individual Acting/ Public Speaking/ Verse & Prose Students: Monologue/ Duologue- £23 per ½ hour session/ £45 per hour*
Acting for Groups: £6 per student, per ½ hour session (4-6 students)*
LAMDA exam sessions can also be offered online at a slightly discounted price.

Theme’s include; Intensive Arts Award, Drama for Literacy, Childs Play (scriptwriting techniques- which will then be performed by adult actors), Creative Writing through practical exploration.
